...have you and the other guys already thought about the future integration of JFreeChart (see previous comment). Are there any changes? What's to be implement next? How to volunteer?

(I really fancy the idea to have the mighty JFreeChart as an alternative to google's chart api)

have you considered abusing JFreeChart javadoc metadata to generate these higher level interfaces ?

also I think all this begets either a EXPath or EXQuery module that supersets implementation ... I think this kind of thing is more at the EXQuery level of abstraction.
